One building, one shared scene
From March to May 2026, I led file organization and final OpenUSD scene aggregation for a digital twin of the USC Iovine and Young Academy building’s first floor, integrating classmates’ contributions into a unified environment.
A shared workflow for independent room teams
I established the shared file organization system and standardized the room-development workflow so teammates could work on their individual rooms while keeping their files ready for later aggregation. This gave the teams a common structure for contributing to the building-wide scene without needing to work in the same room file.
Cross-team coordination
I helped coordinate communication between room teams and checked in on progress to keep the shared project moving. Alongside the technical organization, I helped teams stay aligned as their individual environments developed toward final aggregation.
Payloads and scene aggregation
I organized scene assets using OpenUSD payloads to support selective loading and scalable scene assembly. I also taught classmates how to use NVIDIA Omniverse to prepare and contribute assets to the shared digital twin.
The gallery above shows the shared environment assembled from classmates’ contributed assets. My contributions included file organization, workflow standardization, cross-team coordination, final scene aggregation, payload organization, and helping classmates prepare assets in Omniverse. These are viewport captures, with the application overlays retained.
